No. The ticket is valid for any available crossing — you don't need to select a specific time during checkout. Simply arrive at the orange ticket booth at Santa Pola port in advance and board the departure that suits you best.

In April, May, June, September, and October, 10 minutes in advance is sufficient. During peak season (July and August), we recommend arriving 15 to 20 minutes before departure, both from Santa Pola and Tabarca.
Which departures are the busiest?
The busiest outbound departures from Santa Pola are at 10:00 AM and 11:30 AM. For returns from Tabarca, the 4:45 PM crossing is usually the most crowded. To avoid crowds, try choosing the midday departures.
Can I return on a different day than the outbound trip?
Yes. Your ticket is valid for all days and times from March 2nd until October 31st. If you buy today and decide to return tomorrow or any other day this season, your ticket remains valid.
Can schedules be modified?

Santa Pola to Tabarca Island Ferry Timetable 2026

The ferry to Tabarca from Santa Pola operates every day, including holidays, from March 2nd to October 31st. Santa Pola is the closest port to the island — only 9 kilometers away — making this the fastest and most affordable route in the entire Costa Blanca.

The Catamaran Nueva Tabarca completes the journey in 25 minutes, with a stop at the Marine Reserve so you can observe the seabed before arriving. Underwater views are included in all tickets at no extra cost.

Where to take the boat to Tabarca in Santa Pola?

The departure point is the Santa Pola fishing port, at Avenida de los Baños, 1. Look for the Orange Ticket Booth next to the pier. If you bought your ticket online, you have priority access — just show your QR code and board without queuing. If you're coming from Alicante or Elche, the drive is about 20-25 minutes via the N-332.
